How we work with you
Six clear stages from first conversation to sustained leadership growth
Discovery conversation
Every engagement begins with a complimentary, no-obligation discovery call. During this 30-minute conversation, we listen carefully to understand your organisation's context, the leadership challenges you are facing and the outcomes you hope to achieve. We ask probing questions about culture, strategy and team dynamics so we can assess whether our approach is the right fit. This is not a sales pitch — it is a genuine diagnostic conversation designed to surface the real issues beneath the surface symptoms.
By the end of the call, you will have a clearer picture of your priorities and we will have enough context to propose a tailored engagement structure.
Diagnostic assessment
Once we agree to move forward, we conduct a thorough diagnostic phase. This may include stakeholder interviews, 360-degree feedback surveys, psychometric profiling, culture audits or a combination of tools selected specifically for your situation. The goal is to build a data-rich picture of current leadership capability, identify gaps and pinpoint the highest-leverage areas for development.
We present our findings in a clear, jargon-free report that serves as the foundation for programme design. This transparency ensures that every recommendation is grounded in evidence, not assumption.
Programme design
Using the diagnostic insights, we co-design a bespoke development programme with your internal stakeholders. We believe the best programmes are owned by the organisation, not imposed by the consultant, so we work collaboratively to define learning objectives, select delivery formats (coaching, workshops, action-learning projects, peer circles) and set a realistic timeline.
Each programme includes clear success metrics tied to business outcomes — not just participant satisfaction scores. We also build in checkpoints so the programme can be adjusted as circumstances evolve.
Delivery and facilitation
This is where the transformation happens. Our experienced consultants deliver the programme through a blend of one-on-one coaching sessions, group workshops and experiential learning activities. We create psychologically safe environments where leaders can practise new behaviours, receive candid feedback and reflect on their impact.
Whether we are running a half-day team-alignment session or a six-month executive coaching engagement, we bring the same rigour, warmth and commitment to every interaction. Virtual and in-person options are available, and we often combine both for maximum flexibility.
Measurement and review
At agreed milestones, we pause to measure progress against the success metrics defined during programme design. This might involve re-administering 360-degree surveys, reviewing business KPIs, or conducting qualitative interviews with participants and their teams. We present findings transparently and use them to refine the remaining programme elements.
This iterative approach ensures that our leadership consulting stays relevant and responsive, rather than following a rigid script that may no longer fit the evolving reality of your organisation.
Sustained growth and transition
Our goal is to build lasting capability, not dependency. In the final phase, we transfer tools, frameworks and facilitation skills to your internal team so that leadership development continues long after our engagement ends. We provide a comprehensive transition pack, train internal coaches or mentors where appropriate, and schedule follow-up check-ins at three and six months.
Many of our clients choose to maintain an ongoing advisory relationship, but we never make that a requirement. The mark of a great consulting engagement is one that leaves the organisation stronger and more self-sufficient than it was before.
Built around your reality
No two organisations are the same, and neither are our programmes
We have worked with organisations as small as 15 people and as large as 12,000. Some come to us with a specific challenge — a struggling executive team, a post-merger integration, a leadership vacuum created by rapid growth. Others want a proactive, long-term development strategy that builds bench strength across every tier.
Whatever your starting point, our process adapts. The six stages above provide a reliable structure, but within each stage we have the flexibility to adjust scope, pace and methodology. That balance of structure and adaptability is what allows our leadership consulting to produce consistently strong results across vastly different contexts.
We also recognise that leadership development does not happen in a vacuum. Organisational culture, market pressures, team dynamics and individual life circumstances all influence how leaders learn and grow. Our consultants are trained to hold that complexity and work with it, not around it.
Frequently asked questions
Answers to common questions about our leadership consulting process
Engagements range from a single half-day workshop to multi-year programmes. Most coaching engagements run for six to twelve months, with sessions every two to three weeks. We always agree on a clear timeline and scope before we begin, and we build in review points so you can extend, adjust or conclude the engagement based on results.
Both. Our executive coaching service is designed for individual leaders, while our workshops and strategy facilitation are group-based. Many clients combine both — individual coaching for senior leaders alongside team programmes for their direct reports — to create a reinforcing development ecosystem.
We have deep experience in healthcare, technology, financial services, education and the public sector, but our leadership consulting principles are transferable across industries. We invest time in the diagnostic phase to understand your sector-specific dynamics so our advice is always contextually relevant.
Absolutely. We have been delivering high-impact virtual coaching and workshops since 2019. Our virtual sessions use interactive tools, breakout rooms and digital whiteboards to maintain the energy and intimacy of face-to-face work. Many clients prefer a hybrid model that combines virtual convenience with periodic in-person gatherings.
We define success metrics during the programme-design phase, and they are always tied to observable behaviours and business outcomes — not just satisfaction surveys. Common metrics include 360-degree feedback score improvements, employee engagement shifts, retention rates, decision-cycle times and promotion readiness. We present data transparently at each review point.
